Monday afternoons meeting at Pontefract was abandoned due to a waterlogged track.
The course survived an early inspection on Sunday but issued a proviso that any additional rain could put the assembly in jeopardy.
Regrettably with rainfall totalling nearly five millimetres on Sunday the track would take no more and it had been waterlogged in areas.
Since additional rain and September 22 is forecast throughout Monday in complete over 129 millimetres has dropped.
Pontefract has one fulfilling in 2019, its season finale on October 21.
Even the racecourses official Twitter accounts posted:Following a further 4.5millimeter rain Sunday day falling on saturated soil and with further heavy rain forecast today, racing has been abandoned.
